My Mission
I'm dedicated to providing compassionate telehealth counseling services to individuals struggling with mental health, addiction, or personal issues. My goal is to empower you to achieve your personal and professional goals and improve your overall quality of life. With over 50 years of experience in addiction recovery and mental wellness, I have helped countless individuals overcome various addiction, mental, and emotional challenges. I strongly believe we all have the power to get well and can greatly benefit from having the right guide in our journey toward recovery and wellness through virtual therapy.
Qualifications and education
I am dually licensed in New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor. Additionally, I hold certifications as an Internationally Certified Gambling Counselor-II, an Internationally Certified Employee Assistance Professional, and a DOT, Federally Qualified Substance Abuse Counselor. I am also a Certified New Jersey Disaster Response Crisis Counselor. My academic background includes Master’s degrees in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in Health Care Administration from Rider University. As a Navy veteran who served from 1973-77 as a Hospital Corpsman, I am dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey towards addiction recovery and mental wellness. Furthermore, I participate in the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey's (1-800-GAMBLER) statewide gambling treatment grant, which includes options for virtual therapy.
